Keep the Dog Safe
If you have a leash, spare lead, or even a belt, gently secure the dog and move away from roads, trails, and traffic.

Check for a Collar or Tag
Look for a name tag, phone number, or rabies tag. If there's a number, call it right away — that's the fastest way home!

No Tag? Call for Help
